SOLD OUT Clothing launched in March 2011 as Keith & David renewed their license on several Tom of Finland images from The Tom of Finland Foundation. Both being longtime fans of TOM’s work as well as their deep roots in pop culture, they incorporated their artwork choices into a line of t-shirts. The line over time has grown to a wide variety of styles and treatments that have allowed TOM’s artwork to appeal to a wider audience. David and Keith are committed to reminding a familiar audience and exposing a new audience to TOM’s important role in society’s timeline of sexual freedoms and expressions.   A line of in-house designed slogan shirts has developed and grown alongside the instant recognition of TOM’s artwork. Shirts with “SERVE”, “Flip-Flopper” and “Spit on It” have gained popularity because of their simple, good-humored messages, as well as because of the wide selection of shirt colors and customized shirt treatments that SOLD OUT Clothing is happy to offer their customers.
